Sequencer

Info

The one idea for Sequencer is to permit the easy testing of access controls for transactional web applications. So for example you could perform a complex series of actions as one user, capture the requests, import the requests into Sequencer and change the auth details and rerun the entire set of requests as a different user.

Another use of the tool is for applications that have very sensitive data validation e.g. it hoofs your session if it detects something wrong. So you can easily setup sequences of requests, modify a value then resend all of the requests.

To import requests you can either use the toolbar/menu items or you can just drag 'n' drop the request files onto the requests listview, which will automatically import the request. The app also supports multiple file drag 'n' drop, though there is no guarantee in which order they will be imported.

Sequencer will also update each cookie, if an updated cookie value is received from a response (this is configurable).

The main window has a logging window that shows the response code for responses, plus if cookies are received and updated..
